WATER
Nature’s precious gift, respect it
Surface water makes up about 71% of the planet surface but only 3% of the earth’s water is fresh. In Malaysia, water resources are abundant and plentiful throughout the year due to its abundant rainfall. As such it is imperative that water is managed and mitigated in a way to ensure, flooding are avoided, coastal areas and river banks protected and rain water harvested to complement conventional methods of water supply to ensure adequate water supply is readily available for current and future use.
HSS has undertaken a range of assignments across the water resources and flood mitigation sectors since the early 1990s.
