A STUDY ON WASTE SLUDGE AS A SOURCE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AT RESOURCE RECOVERY CENTRE PLANT, SEMENYIH
HSS conducted research related to sludge produced from STP in Malaysia in order to produce fuel for electrical power generation. This study was done to evaluate whether the technology for producing fuel from sludge using biodrying process can be commercialized on a large scale and to achieve ‘zero landfill’. HSS conducted the study, on mechanical, industrial and solid waste.
