REFURBISHMENT AND UPGRADING OF PANTAI SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS
The Pantai Sewage Treatment Works was constructed in 1952 to meet a 440,000 population equivalent design treatment inflow. By the year 2000, with the inflow exceeding this, HSS was engaged to assess refurbishment, upgrading and de-sludging of the aerated lagoon to meet current and future needs. For the recommended improvement works, HSS provided process design, tender documentation and site supervision services.
