PAHANG TO SELANGOR RAW WATER TRANSFER PROJECT
In 2007, SMHB in association with two international consulting firms were appointed by the Government of Malaysia to carry out detailed design and construction supervision of the Project comprising the following work packages:
- A 5.2 m diameter by 44.6 km transfer tunnel
- Kelau Dam with storage of 150 MCM
- Semantan intake with pumping capacity of 2260 Mld below the confluence of the Kelau and Bentong rivers
- Twin 3 m diameter by 11.7 km pipeline to inlet portal of transfer tunnel in Karak.
