MUAR RIVER FLOOD MITIGATION WORKS, JOHOR

HSS was engaged to prepare a master plan for flood mitigation works in the 6,300 square kilometer Sungai Muar River Basin. As part of the work, HSS undertook a range of hydrological and hydraulic studies, including mathematical modelling, to test the performance of the various identified flood mitigation options. Evaluations led to the identification of a package of priority flood mitigation works for implementation in Segamat and the Lower Sg Muar.
