KTM ELECTRIFIED DOUBLE TRACKING – RAWANG TO IPOH
HSS was engaged as the project management consultant responsible for overseeing the design, construction and the electrification of the double-tracking of 178km of existing railway line between Rawang and Ipoh. It included 400 kilometres of railway track, 18 stations and halts, 78 railway bridges, 20 road-over-rail bridges and 300 culverts.

Scope Of Work
Project Management - Prepare, submit and agree with KTMB the Need Statement stipulating the scope of works, design criteria and the contractual requirements of the project. Coordinating the works of the various consultants in the project and liason with the various government agencies.
Detailed Design Monitoring & Audit - Monitor, review and approve the detailed design of the various consultants in the project.
Contract Documentation - Coordinate, review and approve the preparation of the complete set of contract documents for calling of tenders and advise DRB on the award of construction for the various packages.
As-Built Drawings - Review & approve the as-built drawings submitted by the design consultants.
