INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT ENGINEER SERVICES FOR KLANG VALLEY MASS RAPID TRANSIT SUNGAI BULOH - SERDANG - PUTRAJAYA LINE (LINE 2).
MRT Line 2 will run from north-west in Sungai Buloh, via the city center, towards Serdang and Putrajaya in the south, serving the north-western and southern regions of the Klang Valley. The route will integrate with the existing Kelana Jaya and Ampang LRT Lines, KTM, Monorail, MRT Line 1 as well as the High-Speed Rail at Bandar Malaysia. The line is 52.2km long, with 38.7km elevated and 13.5km underground. There will be a total of 36 stations of which 11 will be underground.

MRT Corporation Sdn Bhd has appointed HSSI as the Independent Consulting Engineer (ICE) for the SSP Line. The ICE’s role which includes the reviewing of documents and drawings produced by the Detailed Design Consultant, providing an oversight on construction activities, including tendering, quality and safety assurance. The ICE’s role is very crucial as it will provide MRT Corporation Sdn Bhd with advice on all crucial matters and to ensure a safe and efficient transit system within the stipulated cost and time frame.
