FEASIBILITY STUDIES FOR THE PROPOSED EXTENSION TO THE AMPANG – SRI PETALING ( STAR ) LRT AND PUTRA LRT LINES
HSS was engaged to carry out the feasibility studies for the proposed extensions to the two existing LRT lines, namely:
- Ampang – Sri Petaling (STAR) line from the Sri Petaling Terminal Station through to Puchong and ending at USJ (16km)
- PUTRA line from Kelana Jaya through Subang and ending at USJ (16km)
HSS conducted studies on the various route alignment, LRT systems studies, rail operation studies, station layouts, park and ride requirements, land cost evaluations and ridership studies. Simultaneously, we developed a financial model with proposed fare structures.
