DISTRIBUTION PARK COMPLEX, NORTH PORT, PORT KLANG

This was the first warehouse built in the Port Klang Distribution Park complex where foundation design posed challenges owing to marine clay. The warehouse is 90m (width) x 156m (long) with a two storey office. The Portal Frames are spaced at 12m c/c with two intermediate column spanning 30m. The ground floor has been designed to support an imposed load of 50kN/m2 and was raised up by 1.22m to facilitate the container loading/unloading activities.
