TRANSPORTATION MASTER PLANS AND STUDIES

Drawing on international best practices, with appropriate adaptations to account for Malaysian conditions, HSS pioneered transportation master planning in Malaysia. In each plan, the appropriate transportation strategies were scheduled over the different phases of the project.

Highway master plan projects completed by HSS included KLIA, Sime UEP Subang Jaya Phases 2 and 3, and the new Nilai township transport master plan. On a range of Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA), HSS investigated the effects of the current traffic congestion at each site and how these would be exacerbated by the development. Anticipating the changes expected over time, Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) recommended the appropriate mitigation measures to be undertaken for implementation in phases.
