PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF KUALA LUMPUR SPORTS CITY (PHASE 1)
The KL Sports City development is a large regeneration project aimed to transform an existing stadium and sports complex into a world-class integrated sports city. KL Sports City will host many of Malaysia’s major sports events in the future, and will cater to multiple usages with commercial, retail and residential components. Phase 1 of the development focuses on upgrade works. The goal is to upgrade and pre-pare the stadium and facilities for the 2017 SEA Games. This involves work in National Stadium, Putra Stadium Aquatic Stadium and infrastructure.
