This assignment carried out in association with Taywood Engineering Ltd, required the dimensional and condition survey of the building, involving reinforcement assessment using covermeter instruments and selective concrete breakouts to determine reinforcement configuration. Recommendations for repair methods included cathodic protection and implementation of inspection and maintenance programme.
