KTM ELECTRIFIED DOUBLE TRACKING – GEMAS TO KLUANG
HSS was engaged to undertake the implementation of the electrified double tracking and upgrading of the railway infrastructure, including signaling and communications, between Gemas and Kluang. The upgrading is designed to increase the speed, frequency and capacity of the train services whilst enhancing operation safety of both passenger and freight trains.
HSS prepared the detailed engineering designs for 109km of double track alignment and yards, 10 river bridges, 30 road-over-railway bridges, 5 station yards and 3 halts.
