KWASA DAMANSARA TOWNSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Kwasa Damansara Township is a 2,330 acres new township in Sg. Buloh which aims to be a smart city with residential, commercial and mixed use zones. The master developer Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd is a fully owned subsidiary of EPF, whose role is to develop the main infrastructure of the township and oversee the development of the plots with respective plot developers. The core objective of the township is to be a smart and modern green community township that spearhead’s the Nation’s commitment towards global carbon reduction and efficient energy use. With over 103 acres of water bodies and ponds and 265 acresof public spaces and parks, the township aims to reduce carbon footprint by 3,172 tonne per year. The township is also a Transit Oriented Development (TOD), wherethe MRT Line 1 traverses with two (2) MRT stations within the township itself. A Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is being planned for over 8km of bicycle paths to promote the use of public transport & cycling. There is also a provision of over 11,000 affordable housing which will be developed by Kwasa Land on behalf of Rumah Selangorku.
