BERTH 4 LIQUID BULK TERMINAL
Berth 4 at the liquid bulk terminal involved the development of a new berth at the existing terminal at Westports, Pulau Indah (formerly known as Pulau Lumut). The new berth was designed to facilitate the transportation of liquid materials such as toluene, hexane and oleo chemicals from ships to the various storage depots onshore. Design of the project by HSS evolved from a conceptual design process based upon client’s specific requirements, which dictated the water depth and site layout, the overall configuration and dimensions, cargo handling logistics requirements and berthing, mooring and deck loads load requirements.
